INCEIF invites applications for scholarship or loan from both existing students and those interested to pursue any of the following programmes:
- Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP)
- Masters in Islamic Finance
- PhD Islamic Finance (by Coursework and Dissertation)
- PhD Islamic Finance (by Research)
The scholarship or loan award shall be in the form of full or partial fee sponsorship or waiver for the whole or partial duration of the course of studies. The scholarship recipients should maintain at least the minimum pass level to retain the scholarship.
Scholarship or loan offered is non-transferable.

Selection criteria for scholarship
Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP)
- Admission criteria
- Affordability – income, number of dependents and purchasing power parity
- Potential contribution to the development of Islamic finance industry upon completion of
your studies - age, job position and the industry you are in.
- Academic performance
Masters in Islamic Finance and PhD Islamic Finance
- Existing students only
- Affordability – income, number of dependents and purchasing power parity
- Potential contribution to the development of Islamic finance industry upon completion of your studies - age, job position and the industry you are in.
- Academic performance – CGPA of at least 3.20 and above
LOAN
How to apply for loan (Applicable to existing Bumiputera students only.)
Sanskrit word which literally means "son of the soil". This refers to ethnic Malays as other indigenous ethnic groups in Malaysia
Application forms for loan can be obtained :
- from Admission and Student Affairs Department during office hours
- by sending a stamped (RM0.50) self addressed envelope (A4 size) to

Selection criteria for loan
Chartered Islamic Finance Professional (CIFP)
- 1st year student
- Bumiputera
- Recognised Bachelor’s degree
- Pass all CIFP papers taken so far
Masters in Islamic Finance and PhD Islamic Finance
- 1st year student
- Bumiputera
- Recognised Bachelor’s degree
- Maintain minimum CGPA of 3.00 in every semester during period of study
Closing dates for submission of applications for loan are as follow:
15 December 2009 for the January 2010 semester
15 May 2010 for the June 2010 semester
15 August 2010 for the September 2010 semester
Incomplete and late applications will not be considered.
